All sessions are held in person, at my Erie location, using a structured literacy approach. They are planned and delivered specifically to meet your child’s needs. I will partner with you to provide the right amount of at-home practice activities.
Our sessions are scheduled in a consistent, yet flexible framework. Daytime hours are available for homeschooling families.
Student Screenings and Assessment
Are you unsure if your child’s reading skills are developing appropriately?
I will assess your child’s foundational reading skills and recommend skills and activities to complete at home. I am available via phone and email for follow-up questions. The screening will last for one hour. A basic screening is required before enrolling in a tutoring package. We also have more in-depth assessments available.
Parent Consultations
Does your child have an IEP, a diagnosis of Dyslexia or a learning disability in reading? Do you want to work with your child at home but don’t know where to start?
I will review your child’s screening results to determine their strengths and needs so to provide guidance as to how you can facilitate your child’s learning at home. I can recommend skills to prioritize, suggest activities to inspire learning, and provide programs and resources that can be implemented easily and comfortably in your home environment. We offer either single session or ongoing support.
